The Gretna Friends of the Library needs volunteers. Volunteers are necessary to help with our fundraisers. We also need more members who are willing to come to meetings and share ideas.
Current Opportunities
Volunteer
There are a number of ways to volunteer. If you enjoy baking, we can use volunteers to donate baked goods for our bakes sales. If you don't bake, you can help with the bake sale by volunteering to work a shift the day of the event. We need at least two people per shift to man the bake sale table.
Our annual garage sale is a huge event. We need volunteers to donate items, sort items, set up and clean up. We need volunteers to help advertise the sale. We also need volunteers to work the day of the sale. If you can help out in any of these areas, it would be greatly appreciated.
Join Us
If you have previous fundraising experience or have great ideas, we would love to have you join our group and share your ideas at our meetings. We are always looking for new ways to raise money. With the possibility of a new library being built, our group would like to grow to match the growth of the library. Although our small group has been very successful, we believe we can do more and we need your help.
If you would like to join our group or volunteer, please complete a form. You may print out and complete a form and either bring it to the library or send it to the library.
